Bardzo ciekawe historyczne miejsce , położona w malowniczym miejscu na rzeką. Warto się wybrać i dowiedzieć trochę o historii. Wstęp jest wolny, dużo dostępnych miejsc parkingowych do okoła. Na miejscu są dostępne toalety za drobną opłatą. Piękne widoki.

Love this castle, no charge to in grounds and very pleasant location. Going more often. Great place to take family for picnic or take family. Even if you just want a quiet place to sit and enjoy the day and it's surroundings. Some work being done to keep it safe at moment.

Lovely gardens on the banks of the Trent , superb view through the old castle windows over looking the river .
Castle in a somewhat degraded condition, but offers a nice walk around the perimeter to experience the castle and its walls close up .
Ideal location for a picnic during clement weather .
Dog friendly ( Always pick up after your dog ).
No toilets on site or refreshments.
Paid Parking oppsite , which only cost £2.50 for 2-4 hours stay .

Always a relaxing pleasure to visit well kept grounds beautiful and magnificent view of the castle ruin a spot to chill sometimes with music as a bandstand is there. Or picnic.
